Wow! We have been up and moving again! And I have to admit it is great to be back, I am so happy to see most of our players back. We have missed everyone! I would like to say thank you to our fearless leader on behalf of good old Voldemort for winning Character of the Month. It means a lot to me to know that he is loved, because I do so love playing him! And congrats to Rogue for winning Player of the Month, keeping active, and working hard to keep your characters true to form! And of course, congrats to everyone for making MMM a screaming success again.

For everyone's knowledge, it seems that the young lady playing Andromida and Rudulphus has dropped out on us... which is sad, but seeing as she has not posted since our return, I feel it only fair to put the two characters back up for grabs!

Keep up the good work everyone!

If all goes according to plan, we would like to get started again Friday July 29th. I know this is short notice, I have been unable to sit down and update the site. :D. I have heard that just about everyone is coming back, I have not yet heard from Ren or Rogue, but I hope to see them!!!! See you all then!

We are hoping to be reopening soon. Sometime in the next few weeks. so anyone that is interested in returning to us should keep checking the site for activity, or watch this box and I will announce when we are up and active

    Tell me the meaning of the following spells:

    Salvio Hexia

    Specialis Revelio

    You must also make an attempt to properly before your choice of either spell on a targets 1-10 laid out on the classroom tables. I have randomly chosen two targets as winning matches. Those who hit those targets with correct forms of either spell will win 20 house points for themselves or a friend of their choosing. Those who give me the greatest defintion of both spells will win 50 house points!!!

    Salvio Hexia are not completely understood, but it is believed to deflect hexes that are being cast on the protected area

    Specialis Revelio OR Scarpin's Revelaspell is a charm that is used to identify the ingredients of the target potion or the enchantments on a target object


    I am unable to attack either item because neither spell is an attack. The first is a defensive charm and the section is a potion searching spell. I'm going to assume this was a trick question. However I will choose item 3 and 8 to see I make a correct hit.

    As Lucius so eloquently stated, Salvio Hexia is a protective spell believed to be used to deflect hexes within a protected area. The incantation possibly has Latin roots with "salvare" meaning 'to save' or 'to protect', and Hexia being a Latinization of the word 'hex'.

    Specialis Revelio, also known as Scarpin's Revelaspell, identifies the ingredients of a potion, allowing one to sniff out poisons, truth serum, love potions, and other dangerous concoctions. It also allows one to detect unique ingredients in potions, allowing them to be copied. The incantation is derived from the words "special" and "reveal," fitting in that it reveals the special qualities of the target. Interestingly, if it is used on something other than a potion, this spell can also reveal some of the target's history, or even a secret about the object.

    *he then looked over the items in question, studying them intently for a moment before casting on a goblet on the table, 3rd item in*

    Specialis Revelio! Hmm...this goblet was used for wine last evening.

    *a grin was given before he cast the next spell on the 7th item on the table*

    *being a natural with transfiguration and charms, he cast them both perfectly. He goofs off, but he knows his stuff too*

    Professor McGonagall would raise her eyebrows obviously impressed with both answers that were given to her and Malfoy's and Potter's ways of using the spells as she had instructed.

    She pulled up her sleeves clapping her hands together, pleased with the outcome of her first assignment.

    "Yes! Yes! Well DONE Potter, Malfoy! My... such competition between Gryffindor and Slytherin already showing the true spirit of the houses you represent. I AM IMPRESSED!!"

    she fixed the brim of her hat and lowered her hands still with a pleasant smile on her face looking at both of them.

    "And so... for equal efforts to explain and cast the spells and for equal wisdom on the trick assignment I am rewarding both of you 80 HOUSE POINTS EACH!!! WELL DONE!!" she exclaimed again before taking her seat and moving her wand in rhythmic circles her quill started working on parchment for her next assignment.
