Wow! We have been up and moving again! And I have to admit it is great to be back, I am so happy to see most of our players back. We have missed everyone! I would like to say thank you to our fearless leader on behalf of good old Voldemort for winning Character of the Month. It means a lot to me to know that he is loved, because I do so love playing him! And congrats to Rogue for winning Player of the Month, keeping active, and working hard to keep your characters true to form! And of course, congrats to everyone for making MMM a screaming success again.

For everyone's knowledge, it seems that the young lady playing Andromida and Rudulphus has dropped out on us... which is sad, but seeing as she has not posted since our return, I feel it only fair to put the two characters back up for grabs!

Keep up the good work everyone!

If all goes according to plan, we would like to get started again Friday July 29th. I know this is short notice, I have been unable to sit down and update the site. :D. I have heard that just about everyone is coming back, I have not yet heard from Ren or Rogue, but I hope to see them!!!! See you all then!

We are hoping to be reopening soon. Sometime in the next few weeks. so anyone that is interested in returning to us should keep checking the site for activity, or watch this box and I will announce when we are up and active

    It had been a few days since the 'battle of the dorms' and Lily was finally managing to put it behind her.

    They had all lost their heads and respect for one another. Things had blown up now it was time to cool them off again.

    Lily would be found sitting beneath an oak tree by the lake somewhere in the middle of reading her copy of 'Defense Against the Dark Arts'

    Playing catch-up on school work was a good way to get her mind off other things and hell- it helped.

    The weather was just the way she liked it. Anyone who knew Lily would know that Winter was her favorite season and she had been lucky enough to catch a break in between classes when a fresh storm had rolled in bringing snow with it.

    She was wearing a wool white and red sweater with a matching hat her long red hair spilling out against her shoulders on either side. Green eyes peered upwards seeing if anyone else has dared the cold to come outside on a day like this. They looked extra bright against the snow.

    With Christmas fastly approaching Lily hoped to be able to mend things with everyone before it was time to do shopping. She didn't want any sour moods on christmas morning. Especially from James, of all people.

    Lily would soon find herself not alone, as a small grey
    and white cat jumped up on where she was sitting and
    padded her way over, rubbing against her arm once or
    twice before jumping into her lap and laying across
    her book in true feline style, rolling on her back,
    purring and pawing at a few wayward strands of her
    brilliant red hair.

    "Neko, stop being a pest." She heard from behind her
    as Shinya moved around her and looked down at the cat,
    he was dressed in a long black robe, with a purple
    sash over his shoulder, and a binding around his arm,
    with beads wrapped around it, carrying a staff, rather
    then a wand, with a gold top and rings on it. A smile
    was offered to Lily.

    "Lily Evans right?" He asked, he was a Gryffindor, but
    he was a bit different, being clearly born in Japan,
    and not having given into the British style, quite a
    few people steered clear of him, not enough time had
    passed for Brittan to forget WWII and the part the
    Japanese played in it. "I'm sorry about her, she had
    a since of when people need to be cheered up. Would
    you like me to take her?"

    Lily's attention was quickly consumed by the beautiful feline that had chosen to make her lap its current post. She wasn't really surprised by her appearance and even reached out to rub her white belly those almond shaped emerald eyes turning upward to offer the young gryffindor a kind smile.
    "Yes that's right. It's shinya isn't it? I remember you from the sorting ceremony. I was happy to see you join us in gryffindor."
    She offered him her free hand which was gloved in red the same color as her hair. She kept her other hand on the cat moving to scratch at the back of her ears and beneath her chin.
    "No no she's fine...neko here does her job well. Ive been in need of a pick me up."
    She admitted her smile fading just slightly as she let out a breath into the frosted air watching it evaporate against the snow. She kept her hand extended in an offer of friendship. Lily had a kind heart for others. It was her own she had a hard time with lately she needed to fix things with James but knew he needed space right now so in trying to be patient she was keeping her distance.

    "She thinks of herself as a kōfuku no neko... er...
    happieness neko."     He said. When he said that the little
    feline would wriggle around to take the posture of the
    little kitty sitting and waving with it's right paw, the
    little statues that people often had in their homes in
    Japan to promote health, prosperity, and happieness.

    He chuckled at the cat before sitting down on the bench
    across from Lily, placing his staff next to him. He was
    wearing boots, not sandles like the pick but otherwise
    looked pretty much like that... wearing his monk robes,
    as they were some of his warmer clothes. "I am a good
    listener, if you need to talk."

    Lily couldn't help laughing when the feline started acting like the well known Japanese icon. She waved back at her in good spirits before turning her attention back to shinya. She pulled down her cap so it hugged her reddened ears which were going numb from the cold.
    "That's very kind of you...I'm usually the one doing the listening but I've made some poor decisions recently and I'm trying to make up for it now...its just...a difficult situation."
    She turned her eyes back to neko a little embarassed to maintain eye contact with him.
    keeping her voice low lily went through the whole story sparing no details. When she was finished she wiped at her eyes briskly before staring off into the white abyss around them.
    "I love James so much...I just dont know how to make it up to him."

    Shinya listened to her tale without judgement, there
    was a reason that he himself didn't swear himself into
    relationships, because he knew he couldn't be faithful
    to one person.

    His legs crossed at the knee and he leaned forward, his
    elbow on his knee, chin in his hand, just listening,
    eyes occasionally moving from her to Neko and back
    again.

    "Everyone screws up Lily." He said honestly to her,
    those blue eyes blinking softly at her. His fingers
    came back and brushed through that dark hair. "You
    have to remember that he has to heal first...
    unfortunately, when something like this happens, and
    believe me, I know, but it is often those who have
    done the wrong that suffer the most... because we have
    to wait and hope to be forgiven. And there is nothing
    that we can do but wait, because any attempt to fix it,
    usually back fires and makes it worse."

    Lily watched him as he spoke her emerald eyes had darkened some at the thought of James. She knew shinya was right. Waiting was just so hard. It was taking its toll on her spirit. She tried to fight it off but couldn't hide the obvious longing in her voice.
    "Im trying shinya. I really am." She curled her finger around nekos tail admiring the way she seemed so relwxed out here in the cold. Animals had such a carefree lifestyle.
    "You're wiser then you should be at your age."
    Lily laughed then. A bright beautiful sound like windchimes.
    "As if im old enough to make such a statement. Sorry shinya. i meant it as a compliment." Still she chuckled behind a gloved hand.

    placing his hands together in that zen like manner that
    Monks often did before looking and winking at her. Some
    monk, he had quite a reputation for being a bit of a slut
    around school... and gender nonspacific as well, which
    had a great many people avoiding him.

    ``Don't worry, I am not offended.`` He said. He watched
    Lily play with Neko's tail. She gave a soft mewl and
    batted at her hand, she didn't like people playing with
    her tail damnit. However, assuming Lily let go of it,
    she remained calm and just laying on the book, indeed
    care free and so very feline.

    When he made that first statement lily nodded in understanding still laughing mostly to herself. It felt nice to laugh after so long. However when he winked at her she stopped and felt a little shiver pass over her body. Slut or no he was beautiful.
    She stared at him for a moment and only the quiet sound of the wind around them filled their ears. When neko mewled she quickly looked down at her releasing her tail. She pulled her knees up towards her chest leaving room for neko and locked her hands in front of her knees managing to make eye contact with him again. still she thought of james and wished he were here.
    "Im glad youre not offended shinya. What's it like being a monk?"
    She asked sounding curious.

    "Boring mostly." Shinya responded with a grin to her,
    those blue eyes holding her own for a moment. She was
    pretty, he wouldn't deny that, but she wasn't so much his
    type. He wasn't looking for someone clingy, he wasn't
    looking for a relationship. And most girls would find
    that it was better never to cross the line of friendship
    with Shinya, no matter how good an idea it seemed at the
    time, or how much alcoholic butter beer had been ingested
    before hand.

    "I have an idea... why don't we go to the ball together?"
    He asked. "As friends. I mean. I am single at the
    moment, you are single, no need for both of us to go
    alone... besides, maybe if you make James jealous he'll
    realize he wants you back. Besides, you can't just waist
    away all of your time waiting for him right?"

    Lily watched shinya as he made that offer. She bit down on her lip feeling a slight sense of anxiety pass over her body. James had reacted so bitterly when he knew another boy had been close to her she wouldn't risk making him feel that way again. Very slowly she met his eyes offering him a small and polite smile.
    "With all do respect shinya...i'd like to go alone. I want to prove to James that I only have eyes for him and ..well..its true." She admitted more to herself then to her company.
    "My heart does belong to him. I don't want to be seen beside anyone other then James potter that night...I've practiced dancing just for him."
    She gave a private little laugh obviously still very serious about her love for him
    "Im sorry shinya. I do want to be friends though."
