Wow! We have been up and moving again! And I have to admit it is great to be back, I am so happy to see most of our players back. We have missed everyone! I would like to say thank you to our fearless leader on behalf of good old Voldemort for winning Character of the Month. It means a lot to me to know that he is loved, because I do so love playing him! And congrats to Rogue for winning Player of the Month, keeping active, and working hard to keep your characters true to form! And of course, congrats to everyone for making MMM a screaming success again.

For everyone's knowledge, it seems that the young lady playing Andromida and Rudulphus has dropped out on us... which is sad, but seeing as she has not posted since our return, I feel it only fair to put the two characters back up for grabs!

Keep up the good work everyone!

If all goes according to plan, we would like to get started again Friday July 29th. I know this is short notice, I have been unable to sit down and update the site. :D. I have heard that just about everyone is coming back, I have not yet heard from Ren or Rogue, but I hope to see them!!!! See you all then!

We are hoping to be reopening soon. Sometime in the next few weeks. so anyone that is interested in returning to us should keep checking the site for activity, or watch this box and I will announce when we are up and active

    Lily would be found deep in the Library behind rows and rows of books curled up next to an elongated french style window overlooking the grounds below.

    She held her knees to her chest resting her head against them her green eyes were a slightly darker color today- saddened. She had her red hair curled and wore a handband to keep her bangs from falling into her eyes but didn't care to dress to impress beyond that. She just wasn't in the mood for much of anything over the last few days.

    In her mind she kept returning to the empty classroom where she had told James everything..hoping that it would provide closure for both of them and bring them together but that plan had completely back fired. James had taken it hard- Lily had suspected that but she never figured he would truly take it as hard as he had.

    He had left her there- utterly alone- and she had grown more and more miserable as the time progressed and he still hadn't forgiven her. She wanted to run to him and explain why she had waited to tell him she wanted to voice her fears of losing him and explain just how much pain she was in but he had ignored her...completely avoiding her in classes, outside and even in the great hall. She began to get so depressed that she finally decided the only one she could turn to to help her sort out this terrible mess was the boy anyone could rely on for an honest opinion.

    Remus J. Lupin.

    She didn't send him an owl for fear of him rejecting it. Remus was good at playing the neutral character so she went to him in person and asked him quietly to meet her at the library today.

    Emerald eyes turned to the sky which was overcast and grey and Lily couldn't help feeling that it masked her own heart. She felt so down... unsure if even Remus could cheer her up. She sighed and closed her eyes- waiting...only the faint sound of the large clock ticking in the background keeping her company she waited..and waited... finally nodding off to a restless slumber.

    Remus had a lot on his own plate. A great deal more than he could discuss with anyone. The moon was only a few weeks away and it was pulling hard on him. He told Lily he would meet her but having already tried to comfort James he had the distinic impression of being put in the middle.

    He found her easily and sat down beside of her. He opened a book on Lycanthrophy - their current DADA topic and began to read, waiting for her to wake up and discuss whatever she needed.

    Lily was pulled out of her sleep- a troubled dream of Severus and James fighting and their spells being cast towards each other made Lily jump in the middle. She was about to be hit by a red streak of light when her green eyes snapped open and she sat up rigid.

    A soft voice fell against her ears and she turned her head to the side seeing Remus sitting next to her she sighed a breath of relief her muscles relaxing as she did her best to push the dream to the back of her mind and focused.

    Reaching forward she gently took his hand pulling it away from the book he was reading and smiled softly up at him.

    "Thank you for coming Remus... I know how close you and James are but I also feel incredibly close to you. I didn't know who else to turn too..."

    The smile faded from her lips and she glanced out of the long windows again looking tired even though she had just rested.

    "He's so angry with me... Remus I- I asked him to meet me in the empty classroom and I told him everything. I felt it was important to be honest about my past. I thought he would still accept me for it and be glad that I told him how confused I had been and my reasoning for choosing him. I wanted to explain why my heart had chosen him and what happened to make it so but- he ... you should have seen his face. He looked so... bitter. So hurt. I couldn't do anything to change his mind. He just left me there and I - I understand if he needed some time to think Remus but it's been nearly two weeks now and he's avoiding me like the plague. I've been crying for nights and I don't how to approach him. I don't know how to show him that I love him so much and I just want to see him happy again. How can I make things better?" she said it all in quite a rush and finally turned to stare at him almost with lost hope but her eyes alone held their strength, some light, the smallest of prayers that Remus would have an answer.

    Remus watched her quietly from his book. --Lets say its been 2 days , we don't know how long James intended on avoiding her -- .

    "You hurt thim Lily, in a big way. You basically told him that Severus cared for you. It bothers me lil's that you didn't admit you cared for Snape too. If he mentions it I am going to tell him that you fancyed that snake for a bit too. You should have laid that out with the rest of the facts."

    He closed the book and looked her way.

    "Best you can do is wait it out. Going after James right now is going to back him into the corner, and he doesn't react well to that. Just be nice to him and hopefully he will come around."

    Lily's eyebrows knitted together at his response. It wasn't sweet and sugar coated but lily never expected that from remus in the first place. She sighed and pushed a couple loose strands of hair back from her face.
    "Are all relationships supposed to be this difficult? I thought he'd prefer honesty. Should I have kept it from him remus? I was sure I was doing the right thing but now I just feel horrid." She looked like someone had just put her through the crucarius curse.

    Lily frowned but nodded in understanding. "I guess ill have to go to him then and convince him to forgive me...will you try to help me remus? You know how much he means to me...i'll pay you back" she smiled thinking of sirius and nudged him in the arm."i'll make you something grand to give to him" she whispered lowering her voice so no one else could hear.

    "Give him a few days to cool off, Lils."

    He warned with quiet eyes.

    "Let him get his head around what you told him. It will give me time to talk to him - and maybe Sirius too. You hurt him bad Lils. I know you weren't trying to - but you did. James has a big heart, and when that heart takes a hit - it'll take him a while to come around. Just be paitent and don't push yourself down his thoart - ya know?"

    Lily watched Remus with a steady gaze her green eyes clouded over a little when he said how big of a heart James had.

    "I know he does Remus that's why it was so hard to tell him... that's exactly why I chose James... I love him so much and I never meant to keep this from him for so long. I was deathly afraid of losing him and now I can't eat or sleep over it...when I close my eyes like this-"

    she did exactly that a tiny smile coming across her lips.
    "he's all I see. Past the war...past all of our enemies..past dementors...past all of my fears and doubts James is standing there smiling and holding out his hand for me. For ME Remus...of all people."

    When she opened her eyes again tears fell down her cheeks in silence. She wiped at them with the back of her sleeve.

    "I just want him to forgive me and I know what it will take to earn that forgiveness...to be honest I'm a bit afraid of getting past Sirius-" she laughed softly and it felt good to do so.

    "I'll wait ... I just really needed some support ya know? someone to tell me I've got a chance. That it's not time to give up. Because I believe in that Remus... in never giving up. I'd throw myself in front of the killing curse to protect James if I had to...that's how much I love him. I just can't help it."

    Lily would never know just how haunting those words would one day be. For now, they were all safe and she was just stuck in the middle of a typical teenage life. Love was difficult.
    But for all that it was worth- Lily would go through a thousand years of pain to keep from hurting James like this again.
    "Thanks" she sniffled, moving to hug him.

    He returned her hug and offered her a tissue for the tears. He stuffed his hands in his pocket and sighed heavily.

    "Lily. Don't do this. Ok. He loves you, if he didn't this wouldn't have cut so deeply to him. You should have been honest up front, give him time to relise that it's Snapes doing. His infactuation - not yours. Then let him calm down and maybe try. Best to try and get Sirius on your side too. But this boo-hooing drama, he'll call you on it for BS. If you care about him leave the melodrama of tears and promises of dying for each other at the door. Let him cool off and tell him you love him, Honest and simple...it might just work."

    Lily drew back from the hug and took a much needed breath of fresh air.

    "oh, you're right Remus...I've been foolish in my actions lately but I'll make it up to him- to Sirius and to you as well. All of you. I'll find a way to earn your trust again. I won't speak to Severus again-not with this risk involved. You have my word."

    She looked like the future Lily then. Her tears dried up and a serious look came over her features. She wasn't going to feel sorry for herself. Things had to advance beyond that now. They weren't first years anymore. The world was changing.

    She nodded as if in agreement with herself and gathered her things standing up.

    "Thank you again for everything Remus, you've been such a big help. I'll see you in classes alright? Oh and if you see James tell him I miss him would you?"

    she leaned forward placing a chaste kiss on his cheek and drew back smiling kindly down at him before turning to leave her books tucked under her arm.
