This game takes place in the 70's when it was still illegal to be homosexual. While it wasn't always enforced it was absolutely looked down upon. If it was thought you might be ... queer. Then you lost job oppertunities, sometimes people wouldn't rent houses to them. Or on the extereme you could be arrested for buggery.
This is the time where Being in the Closet came into fashion. Everyone had to hide who and what they were if they wanted a chance of a normal life.
Just wanted to put that out there since its sometimes hard to see us in these modern times and remember the struggles that gay men and women experianced only a few decades before now.
