History:
To tell his history we have to go back in time. His grandfather is Renuald D'Oliac. A man who once stood sentry on the walls of the great Roman Empire. Who met and charmed many of the higher ups in the Egyptian Elite while serving the emperor of Rome.
While he served, his loyality and sharp mind captured the attention of a man who's name was before the time of names. A primal beast from the dawn of the human preditor nature.
He took Renauld as trained him in the lust of the kill. Renauld challenged him with all the bravado of a roman solider. He would not be a simple murder. He wanted more, and would settle for nothing less than all an eternal life could grant him.
For this he pleased the creator who - having tired of this world and never passed on his blood to another chose Renuald. This passing of the oldest blood which had not been weakened by over shareing made him far powerful than a typical new one of his kind.
He lived his life, gaining power, treadies, and money along the way. Renauld himself was very near what many call an ancient when he took his one and only fledgeling. A man so diffrent from his own creator. Larates was every bit the English nobleman. A captian on a ship of her magesty's Navy that Renauld had boarded for passage. The ship sailed smoothly and the pair shared many a pleasent conversation from poltics to war stragety. Then three days from home the ship hit rough waters and it seemed that she would sink.
Renauld stood by and watched as Larates ordered his men onto the life boats and gave them every supply they could. Then watched as the rowed away. Renauld got into the boat but moved easily back to the main ship when others where unawear.
He watched as Larates faced death with out an once of fear...and then offered him eternity.
Four hundred years later Larates himself was captured, not an easy task. Through magicks to dark for words and many a virgin kill he bred with a human woman. This type of union was never meant to create life. Life cannot come from death. Thoes rare few who are born of such a mating are mad, heathenistic killers.
It would appear Roderick, the child of Larates and Shannon was to be the exception. He grew up in the D'Oliac covent. Housed beneath a French cemetary which attached to the cattacombs of France. It was not a typical life for any child.
He grew up with monsters and demons as friends and companions. He never had a propper childhood. The only children who found their way into the coven were either terrified or to far gone to care.
He is sharp witted and quick tounged. Richer than midus but content to live with out the huzzah, the money of his birthright allows him.
He is human, just a little faster, a little stronger and healing a little quicker. Nothing inhuman just not what one would expect from the lean and tall frenchmen.
He has already begun drinking vampire wine, their blood the only safe subsititute to the human blood he has already begun to thirst for. One drop of human blood would turn him into the mad man he was destined to be.
None of this is known to the public. He is simply Roderick, the new gothic kid with an accent you just can't place.

Eye color: A vibrant metallic blue
Hair color: Careless dark wavy hair
Other characteristics: He often wears his white faced make up which started as a satire against the vampires he lived with but now seems more like his own face than whats hidden beneath. He is very tall at 6'6 he tends to tower over most of the students.

Wand: 14 inch, spruce - distressed with pheniox feather - A gift from his grandfather...who told him it was nearly as old and he was...an impressive gift for an 11 year old.

Career: Something with linguistics or involving Dark Magic
Skills: Because of the nature of his birth he is very skilled at Dark magic, speaks 17 langauges fluently and another 10 conversationally.
