Wow! We have been up and moving again! And I have to admit it is great to be back, I am so happy to see most of our players back. We have missed everyone! I would like to say thank you to our fearless leader on behalf of good old Voldemort for winning Character of the Month. It means a lot to me to know that he is loved, because I do so love playing him! And congrats to Rogue for winning Player of the Month, keeping active, and working hard to keep your characters true to form! And of course, congrats to everyone for making MMM a screaming success again.

For everyone's knowledge, it seems that the young lady playing Andromida and Rudulphus has dropped out on us... which is sad, but seeing as she has not posted since our return, I feel it only fair to put the two characters back up for grabs!

Keep up the good work everyone!

If all goes according to plan, we would like to get started again Friday July 29th. I know this is short notice, I have been unable to sit down and update the site. :D. I have heard that just about everyone is coming back, I have not yet heard from Ren or Rogue, but I hope to see them!!!! See you all then!

We are hoping to be reopening soon. Sometime in the next few weeks. so anyone that is interested in returning to us should keep checking the site for activity, or watch this box and I will announce when we are up and active

Bellatrix was currently standing over her caldron with a frown on her face. The damned thing was supposed to turn GREEN and it wasn't!!!!!

Oh she was almost starting to take this personally. She had come back after class to work on it after failing to make the potion in class. Professor Slughorn had played nice and pat her head, only to get in good with the Black family, but she was actually irritated at not getting it right.

After a fourth attempt and now a RED potions she sat down hard in the chair and pouted. ``Well... at least it smells good...``

"Yeah, but it isn't meant to. The posion is supposed to cure the flesh - it can't do that with out the festering, heince the smell."

He was working at the table beside her. He had been gone for a few days 'visiting a sick aunt', and he didn't seem quiet himself. A little more pale, and a little more weak.

Which he explained as stress over the up coming OWLS.

They had paired up diffrent houses which was meant to 'build corroperation between the houses'...it never suceeded.

SO here he was...stuck with psycho.

"You added the tounge of newt instead of the ear of a boar."

He nodded to the boar ear still by her caldron.

Severus would walk in to the class room a little later and see what they where doing. He didn't like Remus.. nor did he like bella. Though, He didn't want them to loose points or anythign form grades either. he would set down the stuff for what he was working on, and would move over towards them. "It will turn black if you add to much..." he muttered watching Bella before looking at Remus but didn't say much more. He hated when they put them together mixing Slytherlin with Giffendor it was a fight waiting to happen. He swore the old man got a kick out of it.

He would reach out and grab what was needed and held it out between them. Severus didn't say much more... If they took it , o what not, he woul turn from them and move back to his 'project' he was working on. No one really knew what he was up too.. if they read his mind.. they would be bits and pieces... and not much more. He was working on blocking that. His eyes looked over the old wripped up book he had gotten letting his fingers over the warn out pages.

The bell rang for the change of classrooms and each student were told to bring their potions up for assesment. Remus was one of the last as some of the first years ( the next class ) had already started to filter in. He picked up the small caldron, it was't heavy even with the liquid in it - not typically anyway.

Only a day or two post moon though, he swayed and ignored whatever Lucius muttered about him.

About half way up to the Professors to the desk the liquid in the calrdon suddenly hardened. He had not seen the small vile that Severus had dropped into his bowl while helping.

He paused puzzled before it trembled a second then exploded.

It wasn't lethal by any means, but it tossed him back several feet into the shelveing .

His hands were burnt and it seemed wherever the potion had landed his skin had become a stained green.

He felt something cool on his face and reached up and touched it. Drawing his hand back the blood glistened on his finger tips, a little dazed initally he didn't react. The cut wasn't bad, just above his eyebrow leaving a little trail of blood from the cut down his cheek

Lucius who they had working with Sirius Black for some suicidal reason laughed when Remus swayed under the weight of the caldron and said

"Maybe we should get one of the girls to help him - what a wuss."

However he went from smirking to outright laughing at the explosion. He wasn't dead (unfourtantly) No fault.

His eyes looked over at Severus with an approving nod, point 1 of the payback had begun.

"Oi, Lupin - can't ya read the instructions? "

To one of the slytherins near by he added.

"To poor for primary education"

He said in a mock tone of sad understanding.

Severus would look towards his pot not really paying attention to what was going on around him. HE was with another Griffendor. HE acted as if he didn't know that was going to happen. "Well.. that is horrible..."

Severus would let a smile to come to pale lips. He knew Lucious liked what he did... it showed his loyality, it also got them partly back for last year. HE watched teh blood run down his face, and the way he didn't fight back in a figh. A healthy boy... atlest when he ate... not fighting.. that was a bit odd... even Severus who was a book worm faught back.

Alicia was just coming in with some of the first years. She had her books held to her chest and jumped when the explotions happened. "What the..." She muttered and would walk fauther in to class as some of the first years darted off towards the walls. Alice was a brave little fart.

She dropped her books on a desk and moved over to help him. She ignored Malfoy, "Are you okay REmus?" She would pull out a bandana she carried around with her and would move her hand forward to push it up against the blood that was running down his forehead.

She heard Severus and glared at Malfoy and Snape. "Atlest he doesn't look like a girl... like to snakes i know."

Sirius was working, ignoring that Malfoy was there, trying to picture him as something more appealing to being sitting next too... like a giant cockroach or something of that like.

He heard the bickering going on, drawing him out of his couldron, which amazingly... seeing at this was Sirius we are talking about, was coming out right, mostly because he was watching it like a hawk so no one could slip anything in it.

He would slap the cover on it with a large CLANG! mostly to distract anyone from trying to help Remus whose blood was not so good for being touched...

``What's wrong Snivilous, too much of a coward to attack him right out, got to make a potion explode. Pathetic really.`` Sirius growled at him. ``why don't you take on someone who's willing to fight you back.``

Like the good loyal german shepard he was he would come to his feet ready to defend his `people`.\\

[justify]Bellatrix was still nose in her potion, ignoring pretty much everything going on around her. She hated Severus out of principle, but he was amazing with potions, so that sunk in. Cleaning her cauldron to try again she would start putting things into it once more.

Her eyes snapped up when Alicia spoke, mostly because she had gone from being very fond of her, to hating her completely. It really was too bad for her, as she fired off a silent spell that would cause her ears to grow... she liked disfiguring spells, they made her happy. ``Lucius, let the blood traitor and the mudblood kill each other and be done with it.`` She huffed, tired of watching someone as strong and noble as Lucius defending the pathetic little half blood.\\

Remus would jerk back slightly when aleica got to close to his forhead. The cut wasn't bad, but needless to say anyone in contact with his blood spooked him. He wouldn't wish his life on anyone.

"I'm fine."

He said shaking out of the daze. He would take the bandana from her hand and apply it to his forhead mopping up the little bit of blood and using it for pressure.

"Professor I'm gonna walk down to the hospital wing."

He started to say when Aleica's ears suddenly began to grow. His eyes swept the Slytherins most were to busy laughing to peg who it was. Though Lucius was to busy laughing and Severus seemed focused on his potion.

He muttered the counter curse making her ears shrink back watching Bella. He couldn't prove it, but man he wanted to.

Alica would pull her hand back when the other yelled at her a bit wide eyes. She would just hold out the cloth. "Atlest put this on it... okay." she didn't know why... but if the other didn't want her touching the blood.. mabye he thought she was girlly squeemish or something. Then she felt her ears start to grow. She would put her hands over them and glare at The Slitherins in the room. she heard someof the first years gettilng. SHe would take out her wand and point it at Bella. She muttered something, and nothing seemed to happen, until the book beside Bella, slammed shut and fall over on top of her hand, or fall off on to Bella's foot.

Remus would get her attention, but not turning her back to bella again... "You okay?" She asked curiously watching REmus.

I simple put in the right ingredant that was needed so Bella doesn't look like an idoit when Lupin doesn't read the instructions... he most of put something extra in that he wasn't suppose too." Severus would close his book and put the lid on his own potion. Yes, he didn't trust anyone either.

*James detested the pairing up, having been stuck with his least favorite slytherin. They agreed on one thing though, the professor seemed to do it on purpose. At least the little wretch was good with potions, even he admitted that. How can one not be when always in a book though? When the explosion happened, James jumped to his feet seeing Remus hurt and bleeding, a deadly glare given at Snape. If Snape had any idea how much danger he could have put those in the room in with Remus bleeding... His expression was the most deadly serious even Snape had ever seen. He was NOT playing like usual, for whatever reason they didn't know*

*The things James typically did around school was playing around, anyone with a brain knew that. Make it serious at one's own peril. That glare moved to Lucius, his tone as icy as his expression*

Episkey! *the wound would immediately close up, James following with "Tergeo" to clean up all the blood. He knew the risks of that blood, so Remus at least knew he didn't have to pull away from him. He found a bit of the concoction splattered in the room. "Specialis Revelio" He compared what he learned was in the cauldron with what they had to work with, James rolling his eyes and shaking his head in an "it figures" gesture. James was to transfiguration and charms what Snape was to potions, knowing exactly how to find out what he did*

Snape, it's funny that you claim to have done nothing, yet you were the only one other than them near the cauldron, and I found an ingredient in it just now that wasn't even available on the table. Further I learned a bit of it's history. Care to try that little "I did nothing" bit again?

*James was many things, but a fool was far from them. He acted the part, but underneath he was no such thing. Furthermore, he didn't mess around when one of his brothers was attacked, especially Remus at that point given what they had all just gone through, having made him all the more protective of him knowing what he goes through in more detail than before*

An all too canine grumble rose from Sirius' chest before he bit it back. Those blue eyes darkening some. ``Don't turn your back Snivillous...`` He growled at the greasy black haired brat. his eyes dangerous, angry... and suddenly looking very much like the mad Black that he was.

``Mark my words, you hurt him again and you'll pay for it in kind.`` It took every ounce of control that Sirius had not to come over the desk at him.\\

*James knew his brother too well, having kept his wand out waiting for the inevitable. When it happened and Sirius lunged, James' wand would rise at him. A reluctant "Expelliarmus!" came from him, Sirius's wand coming to him, as well as sending his brother crashing to the side. If anyone was going to do anything to Sirius, James wanted it to be him, and both knew it was for his own good. James raced over to him and gave back his wand, looking to the rest as if ready for a "brawl." Thus marks another time James will have saved the greasy-haired Slytherin*

He let James clean him up. His gifts has always been in Defense against the Dark Arts, and was liable to have done more damange than good by trying to fix it up himself.

He held out the rag and let him remove the blood from that too. He tried to smile towards Aleica, worried his reaction might have spooked her.

He ignored the comment around him, it was normal.

However when Sirius went over the desk he made to stop him. James got to him first, he flinched slightly to hear the other crash into whatever he was.

The professor was already shouting for order, but his eyes were sweeping the room. From his brothers to where Aleica was standing. She had been way to close. Had she nicked her hand and had an open wound, or he had been just a hair slower in realzing what she was doing.

An anger swelled in him, getting beaten to a pulp - he could deal with, the taunts were nothing new. But toopenly expose people he cared about to a massive threat, regardless of if Snape knew it or not - was not ok.

It was reckless, and it was Dangerous...and Remus was done with it.

He grabbed Snape by the collar of his shirt hopefully effectively keeping him from pulling back and swung.

-HARD-

15 years of crawling was behind that punch, watchings his family bleed for him while he never crossed that line for fear of really hurting someone. Not anymore.

He said when the other stopped James. He was watching them stand and get all flustered while he drew his own wand - addmitively, he missed Remus swinging at Severus.

15 Years told him to watch Potter and Black, he'd never seen Lupin do more than offer a defensive spell, let alone to get physical.

He turned his wand on Lupin.

"Stupefy!"

*Having just transferred to the school starting today, it took Pietr some time to find the Potions classroom. The huge Russian boy opened the door, ducking his 6'6 self through and pausing with a brow slightly raised. No one knew, but with him, that was a significant reaction. Something about his dark features made it look like he could either be confused by the sight, or annoyed and about to strike someone, though he made no gesture to the latter, meaning it was the first. This was NOT a good first impression for him of the school or this class. Where did his parents PUT him? Is this the special ed classroom? He looked at the teacher in confusion as he clearly had no control of the class. Back home, this sort of thing was unheard of, and if it happened, consequences were harsh to say the least. Then again, they also TAUGHT the dark arts there, rather than the defense of them. He cleared his throat to get the teacher's attention, his deep and heavily accented voice cutting the sound of the conflict easily*

Professor Slughorn I am takingk it? I am Pietr Krensikov..I am havingk just transferred from Russia to this school. I am sorry for beingk late. Vhat is happeningk here? I am havingk the wrong classroom? This is Potions, da?

Severus was actually waiting for James to cast, and Sirius to jump him. He expected that. He expected the stop, but he didn't expect Remus to come up and slug him flat in the face. Severus ended up on his ass looking up at James his eyes wide!

Did he just get punched and nocked off his feet by the... Whimp? He knew something was going on. that was hard enought to almost break his jaw!! He would put that away as he quickly got back to his feet and shoved Remus back. "I didn't do a damn thing!!" He held his jaw his wand now pointined straight at Remus' neck.
